FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
The questions we hear most often about our testing process, costs, and timelines
Send us your product's functional description (whether it has circuitry, a battery, or wireless connectivity) and target export market, and we'll help you put together an initial testing checklist covering what's needed.
Cost is mainly driven by the number of test items, number of target markets, and product complexity — there's no flat rate. Send us your product details and we'll provide a targeted quote and timeline estimate.
A single basic test item usually takes about 1-2 weeks under normal circumstances, depending on product complexity and lab scheduling. Combined multi-item testing or formal certification scenarios take correspondingly longer.
Not directly — different markets (EU, US, China, etc.) maintain independent certification systems, so testing requirements generally need to be satisfied separately for each. That said, when submitting the same product to multiple countries, some underlying data can be reused, reducing duplicate investment.
If you'd like to know our specific accreditation scope, reach out to us — we can provide detailed CNAS/CMA accreditation certificates and a description of our testing capability scope.
Not necessarily — if the change involves the battery model, power module, circuit layout, or other elements that directly affect test results, the original report's validity needs reassessment. Tell us what changed before and after, and we can help determine whether a retest is needed.
